The College seeks to appoint a Saxophone Specialist on a casual basis, commencing Term 2, 2019.

JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (SAXOPHONE SPECIALIST)

The successful applicant would need to have the ability to teach before and after school to accommodate students wishing to have lessons outside of their normal curriculum time. As with any such position, student numbers are subject to specific enrollment requests and student numbers will change dependent upon the successful applicant's ability to inspire and motivate students to commence / continue with music studies. The students range in ability from Beginner to Grade 8 (AMEB) level. At this stage the College is able to offer around 3 hours of tuition per week plus 2 hours per week working in our Music Immersion program on a Friday.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be eligible for this position, applicants must have:

  • relevant qualifications and/or experience
  • a current Blue Card
  • eligibility to work in Australia
